The first time you entered your credit card information, I believe there was a checkbox to have Steam remember that card. Just uncheck it when you enter it, and you're good to go. Mostly just forgot to remove it the first time around. But even so, unchecking it and checking out again, it still had it on record.

Gamefly was another, had to contact their support to get a one time ability to remove the card, a 2-3 day process. To make it easier, I have Steam save the information, then go to Account Details to remove the card. That way only the card info is removed and the address and such still stays.
